So ready for fun flirty stuff for Spring. Made about 3 different skirts today, I'll share as soon as I can get Risa to model them. I really want to sell Tee's too. Made some for myself.Hopefully I'll have some by the next show. I have one coming up in Lehi the second week of March.

I've always been a fan of Japanese street fashion. Their fashion week was last week, and these are a few highlights.Right when we were first married we bought one way tickets to Asia. Figured out we'd have to earn the money if we wanted to get back. Loved the Taiwan night markets, Shopping in Hong Kong, so many aspiring designers would sell their clothes on the streets, I still have some favorites. Japan with their cute school girl style and I loved Bali with all the Batiks, just the way to wrap fabric into skirts , pants or whatever. We ended staying for about a year and having our first baby there, that's why we named her Asia. The one picture with all the clothes on the floor , reminds me of what my room looked like when my sister and I would get dress for the night!

Just browsing the internet for skirts that i might want to wear or make for Spring. Interesting to note that I don't have a lot of A-line on there. I'm kinda liking the whole fun, flirty, girly looks. Also I want some longer flowey/ bohemian ones too.

so many buildings were destroyed during the Earthquake in Haiti. So when a team of medical and return missionaries from Haiti, returned they didn't know what they would find as far as the church buildings were concerned. But this chapel was intact. Sunday meetings went on as usual. They said the lessons taught and the strength and faith of the members were amazing. Many of the members homes have been destroyed , so at night they sleep in the court yard of the church. It is so incredible to me how life just goes on. The human spirit is so resilient. My prayers go out to All the volunteers and people of Haiti. That they will have the strength to go on. That they will find peace and comfort somehow everyday. That hope will fill that country.

Art Market is this Friday and Nanette is going to have a Hope for Haiti booth. She's inviting all the vendors to donate something so that 100% of sales from that booth will go to Haitian relief! Grab a girlfriend, Sis or Mom and head down. There are so many cool things to buy! The treats they have there are soooo good! My kids always know they're getting something yummy when i go set up for Art market.
