I've been working on orders and they have all been sent out, except for two , that will be sent out tomorrow. Such a great feeling to finally be done!!!! Now I can start sewing for my family. There have been so many years where they have gotten the uncut fabric, wrapped up with a picture of what I'm going to make them. But Not this year! whooo hooo . Hope

My heart goes out to those families in Connecticut. I hear so many people say they can't comprehend what happened. If we could understand it, we would truly have a very dark side. There is no understanding this. So much grief, lost and sorrow . Feelings of how can I help those that have been affected. I can pray that somehow they will find peace, strength to get through this. I can reach out in my community more with even more love, giving and goodness. I know there is always more good than bad. Light over comes darkness. I have hope in Humanity. I see the reactions of goodwill prevailing.Love and support pouring into this small community that just became a global community. So with this post I send prayers of love and hope and more actions of giving and kindness . God bless you all.

Art Market and Beehive Bazaar this weekend!!

Two of my favorite shows this weekend!! One in Provo and One in Sugar House! Fun and fabulous local vendors get together so you can buy and support the local artist community.It is so important to the thriving of our local artisans to support these shows.There is so much to choose from!! I always get a lot of Christmas shopping done at these. Plus I always come away with something for myself as well!!! Hope to see you!!!

More long cardigans

Gina was so nice to come over and model for me, she had just gotten back from NY, she was there when Hurricane Sandy hit.She said it was so weird walking down 5th ave with no lights. I can only imagine, how it would be without power in that city! New fall long cardigans, these are my favorite thing to wear right now!

New black sweater dusters, I'm having so much fun doing these!! Adding little applique's or beaded bits to each one, so they will all be a little bit different! There's beauty in individuality!

Starting next week we'll have long sweater coats in the shop!! They are my new staple. Love them with leggings and boots. They are just fun to make.

Fall purses are in!!

O.k. so I took a lot of the summer off from Blogging. It was a big question if we were going to move or not. But it looks like we're really going to try and stay. I love where we live!! And while moving to Louisiana would of been an adventure, we're just not ready to leave yet. So here I am for a while. Summer is here , except it's not as warm as I'd like. So I'm getting a lot of things listed in the shop. These 'girls night out' purses are the perfect size for just your essentials. Sometimes we just need to carry a lighter load. That's really what summer is all about anyway. Lighter clothes, lighter makeup, lighter shoes. Carefree and easy summer days!! I also have belts and some really pretty cuffs. And a bunch of skirts that will go really fast, cuz there are just a few left. So hopefully your cares will be a little lighter too!
