Did you watch Modern Family this week? It was right on! I was totally irritated with Dave, but of course I got mad at all the little things , so he was just bewildered trying to figure out what I was really mad at.... then there is Gloria... I laughed out loud in so many parts. Have a fabulous weekend! Find miracles in the everyday!

This fun fabric has lace and a little bit of sequence on it.It is a knit so there is a nice stretch to it. I love the lycra band on top, because you can wear it at your hips, at your waist or as a top! I just listed it in my shop.

New York fashion week just finished so now it's off to Paris. Of course Japan , Brazil and Russian Fashion Weeks are very inspirational too.A lot of these pics are from Spring , but I couldn't help include some from Fall 2011. Alexander McQueen,Rodarte,Temperley London,Jean Paul Gaultier and the top four are Wunderkind. Such fabulous mixes of fabrics and textures! Lot's of movement and longer hem lines. Love it ! It just makes me so excited to go make something. If you want to check out all the shows style.com is a great site. You tube has a lot of shows too!

Tha Garment District L.A.

This weekend we flew to L.A. It was perfect weather.I made two trips to L.A. Fabric district, which is so amazing, fabulous fabrics that I've never seen before.Stopped by the Fashion and Design School to shop in the little store there. We took a nap at the beach, walked Santa Monica pier, ate sushi in Little Tokyo.In the evening we watched the street performers on the Promenade .And visited the Getty Museum. That in itself was spectacular! Such an amazing space, you get off the tram and you are immediately in a whole other realm. We fit all that into one weekend.WEW! So inspired for spring! Can't wait to start designing with my new fabrics. Going to see lots of layers and ruffles.

Skirt Giveaway

Skirt GIVEAWAY!!! I just think we need a giveaway to make us smile. I love this skirt! Three ruffles of just fun! What I want for spring

Here's a few little things that have caught my eye for spring and I haven't even been over to the JCrew site yet. I"m still loving the lace layers. At our last trunk show the layered skirts flew out of there! I dye a lot of my fabrics to just get the right shade of pink or blush color that I'm loving right now. When I get some more made I'll take pics before I take them to shows, promise!!
