Nalisa's Valentines show Feb 2nd & 3rd

One of the first Valentines/ early spring show is Feb 2nd and 3rd in the Saltlake area check out the Blog www.theoilclothstore.blogspot.com She has so many different kinds of things!! Even these cool boots!
Then we have Art Market the 5th.Where they will have a Hope fo Haiti booth , where 100% of proceeds go to Haitian relief!!! I'll post more info about that later.I'm also thinking of having a little Valentines open house for those up here ....

Dave likes to take the kids on Sunday adventures. This is just up our canyon about 5 min. I stayed home and made vegetable chowder and artisan bread (favorite thing to bake lately)

Make your own Fabric !!!

For all you artist out there, you've probably heard of Spooneflower where you can make your own fabric!!! Usually you have to purchase a minimum of 500 yards when you want to design your own. But with Spooneflower you can design as little as a yard. They sale some on Etsy. Very intriguing idea!!!

So I have a couple of Valentines shows coming up, where I'll have some coats and cardigans. I have a few done but I'm working on some more. these are some of my inspirations. The last few pics are from a Russian style site. I've been trying to find their designers home page ,but nothing really comes up.My favorite one is Adzhedo. Let me know if you've heard of him.
Oh the shows will be the first week in Febuary. I'll post details soon.

It's so nice having Cynthia next door who makes jewelry.When I need a present of want to make something I run over there and have her help me. So this is going to be soldered and made into a pendent for Sonya, symbols that represent passages in her life. Put Valentines twirly skirts in the shop!

Added new stuff to the shop

Back to work! Getting some Valentines purses ready and almost done with the overnight bags. Just working on the handles. Also ordering fabric. I can look at fabric all night. Still leaning toward vintage big flowers for skirts.And rich textured fabrics for purses.
