Girls Nightout Purse

Risa my cute 8th grader, graciously modeled our new "Girls Nightout Purse" . These are perfect for you phone, gloss, wallet and of course some type of candy! Don't you just love her new rainboots?? She just couldn't wait for the rain so she could wear them.

I don't know about you , but I love buttons!!! I like to look at them, organize them, display them in jars or bowls... Sometimes it's hard to part with them. I would love to cover a whole purse, but then that would mean I would have to part with some....

Oh....but then I could go hunting for some more which is half the fun.

Asia's first marathon

Asia ran her first marathon on saturday!!! She is amazing. I don't know many 18yr olds that would put in the training that you need to do just to finish one of these. But she wanted to do something big after graduating from High school .

I loved training with her, mostly because we had time to talk and talk. And especially because she would be off to college the next year and I would be missing having her around.

We ran the Top Of Utah Marathon, it was perfect weather and a great course. I totally recommend this one. And Asia got in the top 20 for her age group!!!

We've been working on woman's "It's My Birthday " skirts.

A fantabulous skirt you you can wear all day long, anywhere you want because, darn it, it's the day you were born!!!! And that should always be celebrated!!!!

Here are a few inspirations!!! Jeni of course is an amazing dancer, so she's all about tulle and chiffon.

Then of course there is always embroidered satin and lace....

Getting all these pretty ladies ready for the show ( Thursday). They're excited to get to go to a new home... Tomorrows sneak peak will be the clothes!!

working with some fabulous black fabrics!!!! The solid one is in different types of pleathers ( so totally vegan) The other purse, the dots are raised up cut velvet, the texture is amazing!

Happy friday!! This is my cute neighbor Katie, she likes to come over and try on the skirts I make. She also draws me pictures and leaves them on my door.I miss having a 3 year old around.

working on some big flowers, I should call this the Carrie Bradshaw purse. It reminds me of the dress she wore with the big flower on the shoulder.I'm kinds into pink lately.
