Love playing dress up!! It's so much fun when you give kids pieces of fabric and watch what they become. I'm finishing up summer skirts... then we're getting ready for fall, which I'm not at all ready to get ready for. Looooving summer!!!

There is so much to get done! Finish the new shrugs, work on women's birthday skirts and of course new purses for fall. There are going to be a lot more flowers this fall. Have you seen Valentino's new campaign? Can't wait to see more.

belts, belts, belts...

Jeni said we needed more belts, so I've been getting those done. They take me longer than they should because I like to sew on charms ,pearls,beads and bits and pieces of fun things. These should be in the shop soon.

driving with a permit holder

O.k. so I thought I could take my cell and make calls while letting my son drive with his permit, nooooooo way!! I new I was in trouble when he's speeding up around a corner, and I " politely suggest" that he put on the break. He says , "I thought I was, I always get those two pedals mixed up." Does anyone know a service that drives around with 151/2 year olds to get them ready for their test???Is it really a right of passage for parents? Or can we hire out for this????

I looooove cut velvet!!! I've been dying it, flocking it, appliquing ( sp?) , and trying to get it sewn up to get into the shop. If anyone wants the left over scraps let me know, they would be fun to add to cards or whatever you dream up!!

New Fabric!!

I just got the new Tina Givens fabric and made it into skirts and purses. Her fabric is so much fun. The designs are birds , flowers and birdhouses. They are available now.
